Broke SABC won't show any FIFA Women's World Cup 2019; will carry 24 matches of AFCON 2019 on SABC3 from 21 June.




The South African public broadcaster says its broke and can't afford to show any matches of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2019 taking place in France since the SABC is "not in a financial position to bid for the rights".

The SABC made the announcement on kick-off day of the tournament.
